Getting Ready

Lets paint the picture... It's the morning of your wedding, you're in your childhood home, dress hanging in your old bedroom, getting your makeup done around photos of you and your family since birth. This was Falynn's getting ready scene. I can't express enough how much I love when couples get ready somewhere with sentimental value.

One tradition I think is a MUST is writing a letter to each other to open the morning of getting ready. Let's be honest, we already have enough nerves pulsating through the day, take advantage of any moment you can to find connection to your partner. Brandon seriously wrote a novel! We loved it. Not to mention the necklace Falynn's student made her to wear for her wedding...SO CUTE!

Getting Ready, Man Cave

It was a gorgeous day for this wedding. The sun was shining, breeze was blowing, temperature just right. How could they resist not Golfing that morning while the Girls spend hours doing hair and makeup??!? I wish we were there to capture it!

Brandon had a custom made suit, with a beautiful paisley lined interior. Not to mention a watch as a gift from his Bride to be!

Arrived at Aldrich

When you have the extra time, use it. Get as many photos done before your reception as possible! This Bride and Groom wanted to make it to cocktail hour, but didn't want their first time seeing each other to be until they were walking down the aisle. We made that possible by leaving extra time to knock out as many wedding party photos and Solo shots as possible!

The Ceremony

Some say rain is good luck on your wedding day, but I also think tears from your partner on the alter will do the trick 😉.

Formals

I'm not much of a writer, but I AM a photographer and I never get tired of looking at the images from this day. The color palate between the florals, dresses and colors in the trees really made these images come together like art on a canvas.

Details

The florals had me speechless.... look at the way they highlighted the bridal party and EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL. All of the vendors will be listed at the bottom of this post, don't miss them!

Reception

Nothing brings the dance floor together like a band. Not to mention it was almost Halloween, so the mascaraed theme was perfect to add a little spice to the night!
